Waiting In Vain at the Hipstamatic House

#015 Hipstomatic House When I got on the east side of I-35, I decided to walk by the Hipstamatic House, and when I saw that the line for the free breakfast/brunch wasn’t that long, I got in. What I didn’t know was that the line wasn’t moving at all, because the house was already full to capacity, and even when people left, they weren’t letting anybody in. They did come around with some iced coffee from Cuvee, and some delicious Mexican roasted corn, which had cheese melted on it, and was served on a stick. But when I had waited in line an hour, and moved closer to the front only because so many in front of me had given up, two code enforcement officers from the City of Austin showed up, entered the area and started talking to the cooks and writing things on a clipboard. I had already seen that the North Door across the street was having some sort of hip-hop showcase, so I walked across the street to check it out.
