In Memphis, the Labor Day Weekend was also the occasion for a new event called Cochon Heritage BBQ Festival, held on Monroe Avenue in downtown. The event was apparently one of a number of festivals around the country sponsored by Cochon 555, about which more can be read here: http://cochon555.com/.
