Getting Ready for Jerry Lee Lewis’ Cafe on Beale Street

Several different clubs have come and gone at the large building on Beale a block down from Handy Park, which was built to be the Memphis branch of New Orleans’ famous Pat O’brien’s. After a stint as Memphis’ Ground Zero Blues Club (which sadly didn’t last long at all), and a brief interregnum as Dancin’ Jimmy’s, the space will reopen this Wednesday May 1st as Jerry Lee Lewis’ Cafe.
