The Recording Academy, I wanted to support the Texas chapter at SXSW and attend their party, which was being held behind the Four Seasons Hotel beside Lady Bird Lake. While waiting in line for it, I ran into Houston rapper
Paul Wall who is a past chapter president of the Texas chapter. The band hired to play for the dinner was none other than
The Quiet Company, the Austin indie band I had been so impressed with earlier.
