RSVP-ing is required to enter most of the bigger unofficial or semi-official parties and concerts at SXSW, but it neither guarantees you entrance nor exempts you from what can be outrageously large lines. Due to regulations about the size of crowds permitted, many in line won’t make it inside the event.
