This building in the Pinch District of Memphis has been vacant for as long as I can remember, but was once the Club Rainbow. Until today, I had never noticed the Star of David at the very top of the front, so perhaps it was once a synagogue. (Taken with Instagram at Westy’s)

Farm Burger (@fbbuckhead) is not your usual burger restaurant. For one thing, the grass-fed beef comes from cows that are antibiotic and hormone-free, and for another, the menu items change seasonally since all the items are sourced from regional farms. And I can speak from experience that the burgers are great. Now if they would just put one in Memphis!

The Midnight Diner (@CLTDiner247) in downtown Charlotte never closes, and is the gathering place for people just coming from the clubs (or music festivals) and anyone else that is still up in the wee small hours of the morning. My homeboy @DJCHUCKT met me there after the NoDa Music Festival ended on Saturday night.
