The truly wise understand that race and ethnicity are really nothing but varied appearances of the same human species. We love the culture we grew up in, but that doesn’t mean we cannot build strong relationships across the cultural boundaries, which, in America, are occasionally unmarked anyway. The American obsession with race is a tragedy that has left much damage to our nation and untold individuals of BOTH RACES. People should choose the friendships (male and female) that work for them without giving skin color and race an importance which it really does not deserve.
