He’s still active in the bounce scene and has gained more awareness since Hurricane Katrina and the academic interest in bounce reflected in a flurry of post-Katrina exhibits, films and books. Last Friday night, the South Main Arts District was home to Unveil Memphis, an art happening that involved local art installations in temporary galleries along South Main Street, including an exhibit of works by local blues artist Brother Ron at the Blues Foundation headquarters.
