Saturday night at Purple Haze in Memphis, On Location Memphis Film and Music Festival will be presenting the Memphis premiere of Old House Records artist Clay Parker. Parker is a really good singer-songwriter from Baton Rouge who first came to my attention on Old House Records’ Exaudio Tui Viscus sampler from 2007, with some great Dylanesque songs like “Desolation Is Only A Promise” and “Write Paper Blues.” He has since released his debut full-length The Wind and the Warble on Old House Records, available from iTunes, the Old House website or his Bandcamp site.
