Another place of intersection between New Orleans and the Caribbean is the prevalence of reggae and Rastafarian culture in the city. Reggae shops such as
this one are not uncommon, and reggae concerts are popular. At least one brass band, the
Soul Rebels, shows the influence of reggae music.
