The Memphis rap artist Snipes tweeted about a Block Party For Peace in South Memphis at South Parkway and Texas Street, so I headed out there to check it out and support. A really good crowd turned out for the event, which featured a DJ, grilled hot dogs, basketball games, inspirational speakers and dancing.
