Cassis American Brasserie is an American/French fusion restaurant in downtown St. Petersburg at the corner of Beach Drive and 2nd Avenue North. Not only is it in a lovely and attractive setting, but the food is outstanding and prices far lower than one would expect for gourmet cuisine. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, you discover that there is a Cassis Bakery and coffee bar next door, with an exquisite selection of desserts. Add free valet parking, and you get one of the best evening dining experiences in America, and all from a restaurant where most items on the menu are below $20.
