The South Congress or SoCo neighborhood of Austin is another center of SXSW and related activity, including a number of official and unofficial festivals at places like the Continental Club and the San Jose Hotel. Saturday March 17, 2012 was St. Patrick’s Day, and I drove down to San Marcos from Austin to have breakfast with my friend Fort Knox from Atlanta, who was in the area hosting a couple of SXSW showcases.
