This year’s
SXSW had something missing- the long registration lines that have been the norm in previous years. The improvement was due to a number of factors, including the use of QR-codes to speed up the process, as well as the opening of a satellite registration center at the Palmer Event Center. Less time in the registration lines meant more time to spend in the trade show or the Registrants’ Lounge in the park across from the Convention Center.
